Fundación Comunitaria del Bajío continues to strengthen the development of the communities in which it collaborates. Thanks to the volunteer work of SITIMM collaborators and paint donated by Home Depot, the Cuahutémoc Elementary School in the community of Peñitas benefited. We thank the Union of the Automotive Industry.

Battery donation to the Children's Shelter

The Bajío Community Foundation donated a battery that Mrs. Gabriella Chemali contributed for musical education to children, this was delivered to the Director of the Irapuato Children's Shelter.

Paula Leal Chemali, will donate her talent and will cover the position of Teacher for the children of the shelter, in this musical branch. The director of the hostel, Luis German de la Rosa, received the battery.

The construction of the school canteen begins at Cuauhtémoc Elementary School

With the cash donation from the Oshkosh company, the voluntary technical advice of Ing. Max Burstein, the labor of the Marabis company and SITIMM workers, and the voluntary work of fathers and mothers of the Las Peñitas community; the community dining room is being built in the primary school of this community.


Donation of stationery products

The Soriana company made a donation to the FCB of stationery materials that will be used to support the start of classes for dozens of families in the communities where we work.

Distributed paint begins to be applied to community buildings in the regions where we work.


Computer Course in San Agustín de las Flores

With the resource of the Distance Education Briefcases and the voluntary work of high school students from the community, a basic computer course was given to the children of San Agustín de las Flores in Silao.

Meetings RedGlobal MX

During the first days of August, a series of meetings were scheduled with Lorena Patterson, Vice-Coordinator for North America Business Area and President of the North Carolina Chapter in Raleigh of RedGlobal MX; where he was presented to government representatives in education, youth and security in order to resume educational exchanges between officials and public servants from North Carolina and Guanajuato.
